FMSNI tries to hold a 1-day Conference every 2 years where possible. These provide a great opportunity for people to hear leading authorities in fibromyalgia internationally speak about the condition and the advances being made in research worldwide. We have been hugely fortunate in having Prof. Rob Bennett (the leading US authority on the condition) attend 3 times over the past 13 years. Other notable speakers have been Dr. Jacob Teitlebaum (US), Sharon Bennett (US), Muhammed Yunus (US), Dr. Gary McCleane (N.I.), Dr Patrick Wood (US) and Dr. Kim Lawson (UK).

Most are held in Belfast, but the 2009 one was held in Coleraine and was, according to "old hands" who've attended most if not all the previous ones, "the best one yet!".
